Project Accomplished (Year 2004 - June 2019)
Since its establishment in 2004, CAT UK has been providing various financial, moral and physical support in different sectors including health, education, housing and natural calamities. They are:
- Organised a health camp in Kabilas village, Chitwan alongside health professionals to provide free medical treatment and medicine (2004)
- Provided financial aid to a bereaved family of late Prem Singh Gurung (2005)
- Provided financial support to buy blood to those injured during the democratic movement of BS 2062-6 (2005)
- Provided financial help to heart patient Mr Dipesh Paudel (2005)
- Provided financial support to Ms Sabitri Dhakal following the aftermath of the Bandermudhe incident (2005)
- Expressed respect to Mr Pushkar Shah at a CAT-UK event during his arrival in the UK whilst taking part in his world by-cycle trek (2005)
- Published the first edition of CAT UK’s magazine titled Matribhumi (2006)
- Provided financial support to the victims of the Koshi River flooding through NRNA (2007)
- Organized a health camp in Madi village, Chitwan alongside health professionals to provide free medical treatment and medicine (2008)
- Provided financial support to Bharatpur Hospital through CAT Chitwan (2008)
- Published a second edition of CAT UK’s magazine titled Matribhumi (2010)
- Organized a charity fundraising programme to support ‘Ambulance Project for Madi’ and provided an ambulance to Ayoddhapuri village, Chitwan (2011)
- Sponsored Chitwan FM (Ujyaalo 90 Network) for a health awareness program for one year.
- Organized a health camp in Gaureegunj, Chitwan alongside health professionals to provide free medical treatment and medicine. (2011)
- Provided financial support to renovate Narayani Kala Mandir (2011)
- Provided financial support to the ‘Hamro Ghar Project’ (shelter for homeless children) (2012)
- Provided financial support to the bereaved family of late Tanka Subedi and late Birendra Paudel (2012)
- Organised a health camp in Devghat, Chitwan in joint association with Nursing Association UK and alongside health professionals to provide free medical treatment and medicine. (2012)
- Provided donation to Health Nepal Network (HNN) fundraising program (2013)
- Provided food donation to Chepang Children Center in Ratna Nagar, Chitwan (2014)
- Provided food donation to Antodaya Boarding Secondary School in Karaiya Khairahani Chitwan (2014)
- Provided financial support to the Endownment Fund (Akshay Kosh) fund of Antodaya Boarding Secondary School (2014)
- Provided financial support to release an innocent victim in the Middle East (2014)
- Published the third edition of CAT UK’s magazine titled Matribhumi (2014)
- Provided financial support to patients with low income to aid their treatment through mobile sibir
- Financial support to Chitwan Sahitya Parishad Building Construction
- Provided donation to the Laxmi Pratisthan institution to construct a house for the Chepang community in Kanda Village Chitwan (2015)
- Provided donation to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund of Nepal to support flood victims (2015)
- Provided donation to the Prime Mininster’s Disaster Relief Fund following the aftermath of the earthquake through the British Embassy (2015)
- Provided donation to re-build earthquake damaged Shree Rastriya Primary School in Dhodeni, Kabilas Chitwan. (2015)
- Provided donation to re-build earthquake damaged Rastriya Secondary School in Gardashama, Dahakhani Chitwan. 2015
- Organized Mobile Health Camp at Dhodeni for Earthquake Victims. (2016)
- Provided donation to Manav Sewa Asharam, Chitwan (2016)
- Donated to Disable People Rehabilitation Center (2016)
- Fund raised for Eye Bank to be established a Bharatpur Eye Hospital. (2017)
- Contributed to NRNUK for proposed Nepal House (2017)
- Published 4th Edition of CATUK Magazine ‘ Matribhumi’ (2017)
- Provided financial donation to National Innovation Center established by Dr Mahabir Pun (2017)
- Financial Support to Shree Rastriya Adharbhut Vidyalaya, Madi (2018)
