Financial Assistance (25 August, 2019)Financial assistance to Nirmal Purja MBE needed for his first mountain expedition project.  He is a Nepal-born naturalised British mountaineer and a holder of multiple mountaineering world records. Prior to taking on a career in mountaineering, he served in the British Army with the Brigade of Gurkhas followed by the Special Boat Service, the special forces unit of the Royal Navy.

Free Eye and Health Check-ups (17 February, 2020):  Free Eye and Health Check-ups were conducted for the poor living in remote village of Chitwan District, Nepal.  It was organized with the partnership with Lions Club of Nepal a Non-profit organization.  At that time, about 250 people were given free eye and health check-ups and necessary medicines were also provided.

Financial Assistance (31st March, 2020): Necessary financial assistance was provided to the wife of late Mr Prashant Aryal, a Nepali who died due to covid.  Chitwan Aid Trust (CAT) UK also has a tendency to help Nepalese who are in poor financial condition when they are in distress. 

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Support  (6th May, 2020):  During the first wave of covid pandemic there was a difficulties in the treatment of Covid-19 patients due to lack of PPE material in Covid Hospital in Chitwan.  During that period, Chitwan Aid Trust (CAT) UK provided 3000 pieces of PPE equipment to the Hospital through National Research Center.

Financial Assistance (20th May, 2020):  Necessary financial assistance was provided to the wife of late Mr Shanker Gurung, a Nepali who died due to covid.  Chitwan Aid Trust (CAT) UK also has a tendency to help Nepalese who are in poor financial condition when they are in distress. 

Covid-19 Support Fund (30 July, 2020) : During the first wave of covid pandemic, CAT UK provided financial assistance to the Covid-19 fund raising appeal coordinated by Non-Residential Nepalese Association (NRNA), an organization of Nepalese living in the UK.  The organization had provided essential materials such as PPE materials, oximeters, oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrator etc. during the Covid Pandemic in Nepal.

Library Financial Assistance (31 July, 2020):  Necessary financial assistance was provided for the purchase of books required for the library at Saradpur High School, Gauriganj, Chitwan.

Food for Chepang (18 October, 2020):  Food items were distributed free of cost in collaboration with Gorkha Welfare society on the auspicious occasion of the great festival of Dashain for the very poor 80 Chepang family in Kabilas a remove village of Chitwan.

Financial assistance (25th May, 2021):  To help Nepal during the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, we worked with many other Nepali communities, organizations in the appeal came from the Nepalese Ambassador to the UK.  We started fund raising campaign to help our needy countrymen.  Financial assistance was provided for the Oxygen Cylinder to be sent to Nepal in collaboration with NRNA.
