CAT UK's 17th Annual General Meeting - 31st July, 2022


Chitwan Aid Trust -UK (CAT-UK) has conducted its 17th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and BBQ program at the Meridian Sports and Social Club in Charlton, Southeast London on Sunday, July 31.

The event was organized under the chairmanship of Ritesh Raj Pandey, President of CAT UK where as Mr Prem Gaha Magar, President of NRNA UK was the chief guest of the program.  Mr Magar expressed his gratitude to inviting him as a chief guest and wishes every success of the program, mentioning that the activities of CAT UK is exemplary.  Mr Ser Sunar, Chief Patron of NRNA, UK, Mr Hit Kaji Gurung, President of Tamu Dhi UK, Mr Ananda Dharel, President of Charlton Nepali Samaj-UK, Mr Narendra Kandel, Former President of Pashupatinath Temple, London & Founding President of CAT-UK Mr Kapil Shrestha were special guest.  Speaking on the program, Mr Ananda Dharel, Narendra Kandel & Mr Kapil Shrestha express their wished the success of the program.

In the General Meeting, Life member certificates with a CAT-UK’s pin badge were distributed to the new life members.  Similarly, six persons have been nominaed as trustees of the organization, they were Rajendra Kharel, Lok Gurung, Basanta Shrestha, Surya Tamang, Tika Paudel and Krishna Tiwari. They were honored with khada and certificates by the president of the organization.  Speaking on the occasion Mr Rajendra Kharel, a newly nominated trustee expressed his happiness being nominated as a trustee of the organization.  He also said, everyone should work together to improve the trust of the organisation to take organization in a new hight. 

The Program was conducted by the general secretary of the organization, Ramesh Shrestha, where as vice president of the executive committee and program coordinator TN Rijal gave a welcome speech.  He also expressed his gratitude to all the executive members, participants including the sponsors, artists and helping hand to organise the event.

Program were conducted with a BBQ as well as entertainment by various Nepali artists.
